ESTABLISHED IN 2001
The Origin of Brainstar
Brainstars began in 2001 when Ben Corey, while studying various subjects in college, merged theater, business, and psychology to innovate genetic mapping analysis. Inspired by interdisciplinary thinking, he coined the term Brainstars. Mentorship from Irvin Kershner, the director of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, shaped Brainstar’s methodology over a decade.
Ben Corey, the founder, discovered the discrepancy between education and child development during college. He found solutions in research journals, realizing the power of play in learning. Through years of performing and founding Creative Magic Camp, Ben witnessed the profound impact of sharing these skills with children. Now, at Brainstar Academy, he imparts these transformative abilities to empower young minds.
